Tetraethylammonium Bromide (abbreviated as TEAB or TEABr) is an organic quaternary ammonium salt, It's solubility in water :2795 g/L (25°C). 10% aqueous solution has a pH of 6.5 and is heated to 95 ℃ for 28 hours without pH change. It's stimulating. A reagent used in polarography and as an intermediate in pesticides, sometimes for testing gold, iridium, palladium, rhodium, and ruthenium.
